How I Coach
When I coach, I focus more on YOU as opposed to your business. It is my belief that thriving businesses can only come from thriving people. That's where I fit in. I help you THRIVE!! As an objective partner and a sounding board I support you in fitting together the pieces to the puzzle of your life.
People who hire me are looking for help with questions like; am I fulfilling my dreams? Am I passionate about my life? Is my career providing me with the financial and personal rewards that I feel are suitable? Do I need more time to volunteer......and the list goes on. When I coach, I encourage my clients to stretch their imaginations and think out of the box.
I offer a sampling of my work with a complimentary 45-minute phone session, which enables you to experience the coaching process.

4 Steps to Coaching
For effectiveness and efficiency, all coaching sessions are by phone and are anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour in length. There are four steps that take place in every session. Sometimes the process into them is subtle and sometimes it can be extremely powerful.....like a big AHA!

1. Clarify the Agenda -the cient identifies the topic for the coaching session, which is usually a "stuck" area. From the topic, the coach will ask clarifying questions and listen deeply, so she can be certain of what the client wants to achieve.

2. Seize the Coachable Moment - coachable moments are areas that the coach targets based on clarification of the agenda. There is always something at the center of the agenda. Once the core is defined a shift toward forward action can occur.

3. Invite the Shift - upon exploring the possible coachable moments, the coach will ask the client to expedite their thoughts beyond the obstacle. The invitation can come from brainstorming possibilities, defining options, making suggestions and asking distinct questions.

4. Framing - before completing the session, the coach acknowledges the client's shift and accomplishments from the session. From there the coach will reinforce key points, ask the client take action on their goals and strategize next steps. The coach will "check in" with the client to make sure they feel served and complete.
